The Canadian Association of Midwives (CAM) launched the campaign Choice. Access. Midwives. to draw attention to the lack of access to midwifery care faced by many women and families in Canada. 3700 people have signed so far, but to reach 5000 by next week, we need 300 signatures a day until then!
Where’s My Midwife? has set their sights on a new town. With posts on their blog and Facebook page, they asked their followers who needed help accessing midwives – residents of the Smiths Falls community answered with a resounding US!
