Birth Unlimited

“Birth Unlimited began in 1975 as the Alternative Birthing Group, a group of midwives and consumers interested in natural birth options. The group then became involved with NAPSAC (The National Association of Parents and Professionals for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth) based in the United States and thus was renamed CAPSAC, The Calgary Association of Parents and Professionals for Safe Alternatives in Childbirth. The group was legally incorporated as a non-profit association in 1982 and changed its name to Birth Unlimited in 1999.” (Calgary, Alberta)
