The Other Side of the Glass – A birth film for fathers

CHOICE Film Festival Selection for Friday, October 12th, 1900 at Saint Paul University presents The Other Side of the Glass – A birth film for fathers

“Janel Mirendah has produced more than a film. It is a poignant love letter to fathers, babies and mothers, and also an imperative call to action for society: birth matters for each of our individual psyches, and for the future our shared human family, so we’d best consider how we do it.” — Marcy Axness, PhD, Author of Parenting for Peace.

AGENDA:

17:45 – Doors open for special pre-show presentation by Nathalie Beaupré – “Introducing Raw Whole Foods to Your Baby” (http://heactivelifestyle.blogspot.ca/2012/06/multitasking-raw-baby.html)
18:45 – Doors open for feature film
19:00 – The Other Side of the Glass: PART ONE (10 minute trailer: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/babykeeper/the-other-side-of-the-glass-a-birth-film-for-and-a)

The CHOICE! Birth and Baby Film Festival is a celebration of the options available to families preparing to welcome a baby, as well as the community of family, friends, and professionals that supports them. This festival is intended to be a benefit for local birth and baby organizations including the Coalition for Breech Birth. CBB will use all contributions to defray the costs of hosting the International Breech Conference in Washington DC, in November 2012.
